SUPPORTING US

As the Callington Heritage Centre is run entirely by volunteers, has no regular funding support and needs to make £32.p.w. to cover the costs of heating, electricity, phone, broadband, insurance, exhibitions costs, conservation quality storage materials etc., our ‘Friends’ are very important to us in providing a regular income to help us maintain the collection.

Membership

The Heritage Centre welcomes members as 'Friends of the Heritage Centre'. Subscription rates are modest. All members receive four newsletters a year containing many interesting articles and otherwise unpublished research. You get discounts and special invitations to events. We also arrange talks and visits of historical interest throughout the year, and if you are interested there are conservation and exhibition training sessions.

Thank You.

If you feel you are able to support us, you can make a donation to support our work via Paypal here (all main cards accepted, no Paypal account needed):

VOLUNTEERS

The Centre can only be open due to our volunteer stewards. If you would like to volunteer please use the ‘Contact Us’ link above. All that is required is three hours a month, novice volunteers are always put with more experienced stewards to start with. Being a steward is an ideal way of finding out exactly what the centre has and perhaps doing a bit of your own research as well during quiet moments. We always welcome volunteers who would like to do some transcribing, are computer litereate, or would be interested in the conservation aspects of the collection.
